The Club organizes an annual Spring Exhibition to which all members may submit entries on payment of the appropriate hanging fee.

The commission deducted from the sale of paintings varies between 15% and 20%, according to the location of the Exhibition. Full details are supplied before each exhibition by the Exhibition Secretary.

Affordable Art Fair, on February 5th, 2011

This sale of art work by club members was in aid of the Cossham Hall Building Fund, and resulted in a net contribution of £1,282.

Spring 2011

The annual Spring Exhibition in premises in St. Mary's Centre during May was extremely successful, with member artists and work by the Thornbury Stroke Support group also displayed. We logged over 800 visitors and had many favourable comments on the high standard or work. People voted for their favourite picture, Joy Moorhead's dramatic painting "Bleak Midwinter" being the top favourite and she was presented with bottles of wine. Wendy Titterton and Steven Tate were runners up.
