The Club organizes an annual Spring Exhibition to which all members may submit entries on payment of the appropriate hanging fee.

The commission deducted from the sale of paintings varies between 15% and 20%, according to the location of the Exhibition. Full details are supplied before each exhibition by the Exhibition Secretary.

Spring 2010

The annual Spring Exhibition at Wyevale Garden Centre during May was extremely successful, with 60 participating member artists and work by the Thornbury Stroke Support group also displayed. Aproximately 474 people voted for their favourite picture, Anne McAllister's dramatic painting "Severn Sunset" being the top favourite and she was presented with bottles of wine by Wyevalle's floor manager. Pauline Wilson-Smith, Connie Bell and Gwenda Potter were runners up. The visitor's book contained lots of comments on the variety and high standard of the exhibits.
